{DIY} Popsicle stick stars - perfect for your Christmas decor!

A1 told me that our house looked neglected (ok my words, not hers, but it basically comes down to her implying that) and that we needed A LOT more decorations. And since money doesn’t grow on trees, or on my back, another plan had to be made. I have a cupboard filled with stuff, little bits and pieces left over from functions or previous projects, or stuff I took when friends or family cleaned their houses or moved. Part of the nicknacks was a bag of wooden popsicle sticks. I have a glue gun, string, and glitter. A plan started to form…

I glued the popsicle sticks together in a triangle shape, then glued two triangles on top of each other, inverted, to form a star. That was then spray painted in silver, and while the paint was still wet I dusted the stars with glitter. I used some string to string them all together and made a loop at the end to hang the stars in place. Voila! We now have silver shiny stars hanging from our paintings. A1 is very happy!

For this project, there is no step-by-step visual guide. There was no time to take photos. But there is a photo of the finished project:
